Ages: 12-16 (middle and high school students)

Camp Life Launch Life gives middle and high school students the practical skills they'll use every day for the rest of their lives—the ones schools don't teach.
Over five immersive days, students master cooking, budgeting, home maintenance, and car care through hands-on learning in a small group setting. And because it's summer camp, we balance serious skill-building with daily fun — hiking, table tennis, and activities that help students connect and recharge.
They'll cook their own lunch daily, manage a grocery budget, do their own laundry, check tire pressure, learn how to save effectively & build credit, and leave with genuine confidence in their ability to handle real-world situations—plus new friends and great memories.
This isn't passive learning. Students don't just watch demonstrations—they actually do the work, make mistakes in a safe environment, ask questions, build skills they'll use immediately, and have a great time doing it.
What Students Will Learn:
Meal Prep & Smart Shopping Kitchen fundamentals, knife skills, grocery store field trip with budget challenge, cooking complete meals from scratch, meal planning strategies, and reading nutrition labels. Students cook and eat lunch together using ingredients they shopped for.
Financial Health Banking basics, creating realistic budgets, understanding credit cards and credit scores, student loans demystified, filing basic taxes, investing fundamentals, and avoiding common financial pitfalls.
Home Competence Laundry from start to finish (everyone does their own load), basic home repairs, understanding household systems, troubleshooting common problems, and knowing when to call professionals. Students practice unclogging drains (and toilets!), fixing running toilets, and organizing their lives.
Auto Maintenance Dashboard warning lights, under-the-hood tour, checking oil and fluids, tire pressure and tread, jump-starting a battery, flat tire response, finding trustworthy mechanics, and understanding repair costs. Hands-on practice with real vehicles.
Fun! It is summer, after all.
Registration & Cancellation Policy:
50% deposit due at registration to secure spot
Balance due by June 15, 2026
Full refund if canceled 14+ days before camp starts (July 6)
No refund if canceled within 14 days of camp start
Transferring to another student is permitted with advance notice
Life Launch reserves the right to cancel camp due to low enrollment (full refund provided)
