Home Economics for the 21st Century.

You've invested in your child's education. They're prepared for college academically—but what about everything else?

Life Launch bridges the gap between academic achievement and real-world readiness. We teach the practical skills busy parents don't have time to cover and schools don't include in the curriculum: managing money responsibly, cooking nutritious meals, and handling basic home and car maintenance.

Because independence requires more than good grades.

What People Are Saying

A person standing on a ladder changing a ceiling light fixture in a bathroom.

Life Launch made life skills feel fun and empowering—and so much cooler than when I tried to teach my kid on my own. Thomasin gave my child a foundation of practical skills that he was excited to own and implement at home—and gave my husband and me the scaffolding we needed to help him become more independent.

Two young girls are working on fixing a car engine. One girl is pouring a blue liquid into the engine with a funnel, while the other girl is holding the funnel steady. Both girls are wearing blue gloves. The car's hood is open, revealing the engine components, and there are trees and greenery in the background.

After participating in Life Launch, my 12 year-old became so much more confident and willing to help around the house. Months later, now 13, we are still seeing the effects!!!

“I learned how to do so many cool things that I never knew how to even approach before. Like change a light bulb or a tire! Thomasin made each lesson very funny and enjoyable!”

-Zoe, 8th grader at Westridge School for Girls
